We are not machines. we are human beings. So sometimes we need a break from our daily routine, to fuel our mind. But in today's busy life break is one of the rarest thing available to us. We all are busy in running behind the money. In our previous post 'Necessity of a Routine in daily life' we also explained that how we can balance between our hectic work schedule & family, but in spite of that we also need some long vacations or holidays. As I live India so I can say that I am lucky enough to get some holidays for these various festivals, which give me some more family time. Being the resident of Secular country we get holidays for many kinds of festivals.
Sometimes it becomes too much difficult to concentrate in work for some persons, who are not lucky enough to convert their Passion into Profession. For these people it is too much difficult to concentrate in their work for a long time without any holiday. For those people the holidays in festivals give much more oxygen than the normal holidays. Because they can go outside and enjoy the festival with their friends and family. It breaks the monotony of the life. The festivals are not only a simple holiday, or a vacation, its importance is much greater than holidays/vacations. Festival is an auspicious day or period of religious or other celebration prevalent in all societies and religious communities.
During the festival time we can feel a happiness. Our mind automatically changes and we become very happy. Because the moment for which we are waiting for a long time, is came now. These gaga moments are also very important in our life. These give us oxygen, which helps us to survive through rest of the year. So many people who stays abroad, try to came back to home during festivals. For them festivals are like the most beautiful moments of the year. If we plan a normal vacation with our family, we can surely do that any time, but the feelings of festivals is little more much different than it. The happiness are are in the entire environment in these time. Everybody is happy in these time. May be the reason is different, and it varies widely from person to person, but one thing is common, 'The Happiness during the Festivals... When any great festival/carnival is coming then we can feel that our mind is very much happy. We can feel the the happiness. This feelings also increases our productivity. As our mind is happy so its happiness also reflects in works. As we know that some days are coming for which we are waiting for the entire year.
There are also some people to whom I meet, who says that their festivals lasts for all 365 days of the year. But the number of these people is very small. Only a few number of people are in this World who are succeed to convert their Passion into Profession. They do not need any particular festival, or time for enjoying. They enjoy their work. So they never being tired from doing their work. They can easily says, "Our festival is the rest of the year, its not the holidays, its those days when we work..."
There are also so many persons in every stage of our society who waits for the festival times not because that they can enjoy those moments, because they can earn some extra money during these times. The people of all standard comes under this category. Some people who lives in the entire bottom stage of our society also wait for festivals because during this period they can earn some extra penny, by which they can make their family for the rest of the year. On the other hand if we look towards the top or middle level business houses of our society, we will also see the same things. They are also wait for the festive times for expanding their business. This happens in every sector, from Real Estate to Electronics, from Food to Printing, from Garments to Ornaments, all are included in it. So we can easily the these various festivals also leave a huge impact in the economy of our society.
Being our country is secular in nature we can observe various kinds of festivals in our country. These festivals are not only related to any particular caste or religion, to which it belongs. All people of various religion and caste participate in it. They come out together and enjoy these festivals. These festivals varies widely from state to state. The participation of all people irrespective of caste and religion in any festival also make the unity stronger.
This should happens to all the countries of the world. Every person should have the right to celebrate a festival which he or she like to celebrate. This should be happen, irrespective of caste, creed and gender. But its very unfortunate that till in 21st century this facility is not available to all people all over the world. Hope in one day we will be successful to eradicate this type of discrimination from the entire world.
